The Dubai Metro is divided into two lines: the Green Line and the Red Line.
Red Line:
The Red Line is one of the most important lines of the Dubai Metro. It has 30 stations, starting from Rashidiya and ending at UAE Exchange Station. This line circles key commercial and modern establishments in the city, including Dubai International Airport, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Marina.

The Green Line circles around the old and historical places of Dubai. It starts from Etisalat Station and ends at Creek Station. Along the way, it passes through important places such as Al Ras, Al Nahda, and Stadium.
Important Features of the Green Line:

Each station has special security personnel who work sincerely to serve passengers. Each platform is equipped with various facilities such as travel guides, lifts, ticket counters, escalators, etc.
Dubai metro card for tourists & local
The Nol Card is a crucial part of traveling on the Dubai Metro. It not only facilitates travel on the metro but also makes commuting around Dubai convenient and easy. These Nol Cards can be used on trams, buses, and various other places.
Three types of Nol Cards are widely used in the metro: Silver Nol Card, Gold Nol Card, and Red Nol Card.
Silver Nol Card:
The Silver Nol Card is an easy and affordable way for Dubai Metro travelers. Its minimum price is 25 Dirhams, of which 6 Dirhams are deducted as a charge, and the remaining 19 Dirhams are deposited on the card.
Gold Nol Card:
The Gold Card is ideal for those who want to experience travel in the business lounge. However, the services of this card are more expensive compared to other cards. From the business lounge, one can enjoy beautiful views of Dubai. The seats in these lounges are made of leather, and there is ample space to rest one’s feet. The validity of a Gold Nol Card is five years.
Red Nol Card:
The Red Nol Card is a type of ticket that is highly suitable for one-time use. It can be easily purchased from any vending machine. It is particularly useful for those who do not travel regularly on the metro but use it occasionally.
” My opinion: Using a silver card will make your travel budget friendlier. Recharging a larger amount at once without repeatedly recharging can be a good step. “
